This car is a 1400 cc however was available in 1200 cc as well.  Upper ranks in the Tea planting community made use of similar vehicles during British times. This model is understood to have been marketed around approximately Rs.8000 during its day.  The chrome work of vehicles manufactured by the Rootes Group of G.B., was prominently displayed on this model of vehicle which added much glamour and character to this car. Another unique feature was the hood, which could be opened out either completely, or only the driving and passenger compartment
